At approximately 0350 hrs, 17 Feb 70, a call was put out to the 3-0 patrols that a domestic disturbance may be in progress at 544 Castle Drive. Corragidor Courts. My location at this time was Reilly Road and Honneycutt Road when I heard the call so I proceeded to the above location. When I arrived at 544 Castle Drive there was another patrol that had also arrived shortly before and were at the front door knocking. I approached the front door and, after not being able to enter, I ran around the back of the house and entered through the back door door which was open. The screen door was closed and the wooden door open leading into the bedroom. When I entered the bedroom, I saw one male Caucasian lying on the floor in just pajama bottoms. At this time the man seemed unconscious. Lying next to the male was a female Caucasian covered with blood and appeared to be dead. I ran back out the door and called to the other MP to get Womack as soon as possible as there seemed to be a murder. When I reentered the back door the light in the bedroom was on and I noticed the word "PIG" spelled out on the headboard in blood. I also noticed a small knife on the floor in front of a dresser. The phone was off the hook and appeared to be dead as I tried to use it to call Womack Army Hospital. I then proceeded into the bedroom where a child had been sleeping and noticed a small puddle of blood near the bed and she too appeared to have been beaten or murdered. There was no light in the child's room which was to the right of the parents' bedroom. I then proceeded to the bedroom across the hall where another child had been sleeping and she too had blood on her face and appeared to have been beaten or killed. There was no light in this bedroom either. I then proceeded to the living room where there was a light reflecting from the kitchen, and noticed a table turned over and several objects on the floor. Another MP unlocked the front door and made sure that nothing was touched. I then proceeded to the big bedroom where SP4 MICA and I proceeded to give the male mouth to mouth resuscitation. I held the male's legs while SP4 MICA breathed into the victim's mouth. The victim started chocking and shaking and appeared to be falling into shock. The male was dressed in just a pajama bottom (blue), no shirt or T-shirt. The female was dressed in pajamas and it appeared that she had struggled somewhat, as her pajama top was partially opened and one of her breasts exposed. The male and female were both on the floor next to the bed and the two children were in bed with the covers covering them leaving their face exposed. I also noticed an 18-inch wet circle on the bed sheet. I also noticed blood on the wall of the master bedroom and blood on the floor of the master bedroom, hallway leading to the back door and hallway leading to the bathroom and two smaller bedrooms. The male victim said there were two male Caucasians, one male Negro, and one male Negro, and one female Caucasian carrying a candle. He said that they stabbed him and beat him with an unknown object. He said that they kept saying "acid is groovy" and to "kill the pigs."
