This is just one of the several diaries Colette kept, and she continued to write throughout her life of her innermost thoughts, hopes, dreams, happiness and saddness.
She wrote of her relationship with Jeffrey MacDonald. He was not always kind to her and hurt many times because of the the things he did and said to her.
Colette loved him and wanted to spend her life with him. He ended all her dreams for the future when he brutally murdered her and their children February 17, 1970.
