REMEMBERING COLETTE, KIMBERLEY AND KRISTEN

Colette, Kimberley and baby Kristen

Today we remember Colette, Kimberley and Kristen, and although their lives were short, they have touched thousands who never knew them.

Colette

Colette, wanted nothing more than to be a wife and mother. Her husband and children were the most important things in her life. She had grown into a beautiful woman inside and out.

Colette knew love was more than just heart and flowers and romance, More than candlelit dinners and dancing,
More than walks in the parks and moments of intimate sharing,
She knew true love lasts beyond those initial stages...
Always understanding through the difficult times,
Caring past the disagreements, never holding a grudge and ready to forgive.

She would laugh to keep from crying when things couldn't seem to go more wrong.

She made excused for her husbands actions. She had patience and compassion.

Kimberley

February 17 marks the 40th anniversary of the murders of Colette, Kimberley and Kristen.

In an unforgiving moment of uncontrollable rage, a pusillanimous man attacked and murdered his pregnant wife and two precious little girls. No one deserves to be murdered and certainly not for the selfish survival of another person. Sadly, that is what happened.

We are blessed to have so many memories of your smiling faces and the happy times we shared together.

We miss you, but take comfort in knowing that you are all together on this day, happy angels in heaven.

Please keep the Stevenson family in your prayers on this night that is a sad reminder of what they lost 40 years ago.
