Dec. 29, 2008: Gov't Response to Motion for Certificate of Appealability & Memo of Law
Note from Christina Masewicz: What a pleasure to read a carefully thought out response as opposed to reading the defense motions.
Looking back on their motion filed December 1, 2008. I am not sure that this team is working with a full deck. These are legal documents, and I would think that they would be more careful at what they are writing and at least use the right names.
Example: Go to December 1, 2008 document, Movant's opposition to Government's motion for publication and modification of order. Go to page 5,
"Thus, the material now offered by the government does nothing to undermine the key evidence -- still uncontroverted -- from Mr. Britt, that Helena Stoeckley told the prosecutor during the trial that she was present in the Blackburn home at the time of the killings......"
Is this something new that they are now saying that she was with Blackburn? My oh my, I do believe it should have been the MacDonald home.
Oh well, ho-hum
