July 25, 1981: Statement of Prince Beasley re: Statement taken from
Helena Stoeckley Davis prior to going to Los Angeles, California
to give a more detailed one

Note from Christina Masewicz:  The document below has the date of October 23, 1980. It was originally
posted on that date. However, according to the government, in their September 23, 2013 Post-Hearing
Sur-Reply, they bring forth the issue of the original document dated October 23, 1980 was not the correct
date of that occurrence. At the evidentiary hearing held on September 20, 1984, Beasley conceded that
the "October 23, 1980" date on the statement was wrong because by that date they were in Los Angeles,
and further, that the bill for the Bordeaux Motor Inn was for the night of October 21, 1980. "On July 25,
1981, Stoeckley attested to the accuracy of the misdated statement before a notary in Oconee County,
South Carolina. This fact, in conjunction with Beasley's concession and his diagnosed organic brain
syndrome condition, suggests that Stoeckley's statement was actually typed on or about July 25,
1981, long after Stoeckley's October 25, 1980 typed confession."
